Join their public banana boat experience for only $55 per person, which lasts for an hour and a half. Or book a 60-minute private banana boat tour where your family will zip through the waters being pulled by a Malibu Wakesetter.

If you’re traveling with kids who’d also love to have some fun banana boating in the waters, too, no problem because tourists as young as five years old may enjoy the ride!

And rest assured that Mobile Sports will man your tour with everyone’s safety in mind. Tourists love Mobile Sports not only because the crew is fun to hang out with, but also because they are also very cautious about the passengers’ safety. 

Be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure, and remember to wear your sunglasses and sunscreen for the ride! At check in, you will be asked to sign waivers and be given a life jacket per person. In the event that your appointment gets canceled due to inclement weather or because the minimum number of travelers isn’t met, you may choose another date or get a full refund.

2. Captain Jambo’s Destin

Brace yourself for a wild ride with Captain Jambo’s Destin, located on Harbor Boulevard in Destin, Florida! Their banana boat ride costs only $40 per person and can accommodate up to six passengers at once. Tourists of ages 5 and up may join the ride, but 5-year-olds to 17-year-olds require parent or guardian permission. Note that while pregnant women are not allowed to participate, Captain Jambo’s friendly crew will be glad to assist disabled persons in getting on board. However, don’t book this experience if you have an acute back injury or an unstable heart condition! Captain Jambo also follows a weight limit of 300 lbs per passenger to ensure everyone’s safety.

You may book online via their website from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Be sure to arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled ride to allow for check-in, where you will need to present a photo ID for credit card purchases. And don’t forget to wear your most comfortable bathing suit, apply sunblock, and don’t bring items you wouldn’t want to get wet!

Please expect limited parking space if you’re visiting Destin during summer. If you can’t find any free parking nearby, you can park your car in the public parking lots near the beach access points for $5.

Remember to arrive on time because Captain Jambo’s Destin may charge a $50 late fee if you are tardy. And if your ride is canceled due to your excessive delay, you will not be eligible for a full refund.

3. Miramar Beach Parasailing

Have a blast on a wacky water adventure with Miramar Beach Parasailing, located along Scenic Gulf Drive, in Miramar Beach, Florida! If you’re a fun-seeker, you’re definitely in for a treat when you get on board their banana boat, which is pulled by a US-Coast-Guard-licensed captain. This experience costs $35 per person and can accommodate passengers aged 6 and up.

Note that the banana boat ride is not recommended for those with back problems, heart problems, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women are also not allowed to participate. All passengers must be less than 250 pounds and in good shape without mobility limitations.

Miramar Beach Parasailing’s banana boat adventure is available up until 11 a.m. daily. Be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for time to check in as parking and traffic can cause major delays.

In case you need to cancel, be sure to do so at least 24 hours prior to the experience for a full refund.
