Brace yourself for a wild ride with Captain Jambo’s Destin, located on Harbor Boulevard in Destin, Florida! Their banana boat ride costs only $40 per person and can accommodate up to six passengers at once. Tourists of ages 5 and up may join the ride, but 5-year-olds to 17-year-olds require parent or guardian permission. Note that while pregnant women are not allowed to participate, Captain Jambo’s friendly crew will be glad to assist disabled persons in getting on board. However, don’t book this experience if you have an acute back injury or an unstable heart condition! Captain Jambo also follows a weight limit of 300 lbs per passenger to ensure everyone’s safety.
You may book online via their website from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Be sure to arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled ride to allow for check-in, where you will need to present a photo ID for credit card purchases. Have a blast on a wacky water adventure with Miramar Beach Parasailing, located along Scenic Gulf Drive, in Miramar Beach, Florida! If you’re a fun-seeker, you’re definitely in for a treat when you get on board their banana boat, which is pulled by a US-Coast-Guard-licensed captain. This experience costs $35 per person and can accommodate passengers aged 6 and up.
Note that the banana boat ride is not recommended for those with back problems, heart problems, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women are also not allowed to participate. All passengers must be less than 250 pounds and in good shape without mobility limitations.
