3 BEDROOMS
There are three bedrooms inside our Mighty Sunrise cottage. Bedroom 1, located at the main floor, houses a KING bed. Meanwhile, there’s a Bunk bed and Trundle in Bedroom 2, which is located upstairs. Bedroom 3 has a QUEEN bed, which is also located upstairs. Each bedroom has a flat-screen Roku TV with live cable streaming. Plus, our Roku TV allows you to stream your favorites shows from your Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube accounts. Also, each room has a set of dressers and closets to help you keep your stuff organized. In addition, we’ve got you modern power stations with USB ports to keep your gadgets charged and fully connected. And we’ve also installed separate thermostats to ensure maximum heating and cooling comfort.
2 BATHROOMS
You will find 2 bathrooms in our Mighty Sunrise cabin. Bathroom 1, located at the main floor, has a shower and a tub. Meanwhile, Bathroom 2 includes a shower, bath towels, hand towels, wash towels, makeup towels, and a hair dryer.
KITCHEN & DINING
Mighty Sunrise rental cabin houses a fully-equipped, galley-style kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances. Feel free to use our rice cooker, slow cooker, toaster, electric kettle, and coffeemaker. Prepare and enjoy your favorite dish with our set of pots and pans, mixing bowls, bakeware, and dinnerware. Or make that shake and smoothie you like using our mini food processor, mini blender, and hand-held immersion blender. Aside from that, we’ve got spices in our kitchen, too, to add some flavor to your meals! And if you’re in the mood for some barbecue, go ahead and fire up our backyard charcoal park grill! (We don’t supply the charcoal, though.)
Both Mighty Sunrise rental cabin’s dining table and backyard picnic table can seat up to 6 guests.
COZY LOUNGE
Laze around in our cozy living room, with its brand new 50″ 4K LED Roku TV and DVD Player. Or play and bond over cards and some classic board games! If you have a 7th guest joining you, he/she can sleep on the comfy couch with the extra bedding stored in the game closet (NOTE: This is best for a small and/or younger person as it is NOT a sofa bed, but a couch to sleep on with extra bedding.).
FUN GAME SHED
Our game shed includes a pool table, a backyard corn hole, a set of darts, and a flat-screen Roku TV. In addition, we’ve installed an HVAC system for maximum heating and cooling comfort.

RESORT POOL & FISHING POND
Honeysuckle Meadows Campgrounds is approximately 11 miles from Mighty Sunrise! You may have access to use the outdoor resort swimming pool and fish in the “catch and release” pond for $5 per person per day. Pool season is open at 10 A.M. daily from late April to October. Get 1 free day pass per 3 nights reserved.

DRIVEWAY ACCESS
The cottage is located on top of a hill with a short, steep narrow gravel driveway. If you are coming from the Parkway, you will likely enter the end of the Street where you’ll need to make a very sharp turn uphill onto the driveway. For an easier drive up, go past the home and turn around down the street so that you can drive straight onto the driveway. Or you can drive past the Street and enter through the back from the other side of the Street.

STARTER KIT OF ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES
We’ve prepared some essential supplies and toiletries to ensure your comfortable stay at Mighty Sunrise. It includes 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and 4 laundry packets. In the kitchen, we stock 1 paper towel roll, dishwashing soap, a sponge, 2 trash liners, and 4 dishwasher pods.
PERSONAL SUPPLIES
While we are happy to offer our home at a more affordable rate than at a hotel, there are some features we don’t feature. Please bring your own personal toiletries, condiments, oil + spices, ziplock bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, coffee, bottled water, charcoal, lighter, and chopped wood for the fire pit.
SECURITY
We have two (2) RING security cameras located at the driveway and at the front door that automatically record audio and video of the EXTERIOR of the property. These cameras will be turned on during your stay.

MAX CAPACITY
Mighty Sunrise sleeps up to 7 guests. All guests above the maximum capacity will have to pay $100/person/night.
QUIET HOURS
Guests shall observe quiet hours outdoors from 10 P.M. EST to 8 A.M. EST.
HOT TUB SERVICE & USAGE
Do not use the hot tub if you recently consumed alcohol, are pregnant, or have pre-existing health conditions. There are health implications to using this facility. Use at your own risk. The hot tubs are thoroughly drained, cleaned, sanitized, refilled, and water rebalanced after EVERY guest departure. Rinse off all body oils before using the hot tubs because the water will get cloudy and murky quickly if you don’t.
BEDS & SOFAS
Do not jump on any beds or sofas. These furnishings will (and have) broken when guests have left their kids to jump and play on them. You will be charged to replace any damaged furniture that shows misuse.
THERMOSTATS
In order to maintain our HVAC system in good operating condition, our thermostats are set to be adjusted between 67-79 degrees year round.
KEEP DOORS AND WINDOWS CLOSED
It is very critical that you keep all doors and windows closed during your stay. Due to the high humidity and constant use of air conditioning inside the home, leaving the doors and windows open will cause water damage to the walls, ceilings, and electronic door locks via HVAC condensation build-up. We would hate to have to charge you for these damages. Keeping all doors and windows closed will also keep the bugs and critters outside of the house! BUGS In the Smokies, Asian lady beetles (looks like ladybugs) and stink bugs often come into cabins to escape the cold during the fall and winter seasons. Likewise, millipedes may visit during the summer to get away from the heat and to find water. While we have monthly pest control servicing and our cleaner thoroughly vacuums and cleans the home after each reservation, you may still encounter them during your stay. The best thing to do is sweep up these critters using a broom and dispose of them.
BEARS + OTHER WILDLIFE
Do not feed, interact, or get close to bears and other wildlife. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OR TRASH out on the decks, front porch, or cars. Dispose of ALL trash into the garbage cans in the bear proof cage. And do not leave children outside unattended.
CONSTRUCTION
Like many areas in the Smokies right now, there may be new homebuilding activity in the neighborhood during your stay. Please use caution when driving through the area and note that any construction noise and activity should only occur during standard business hours.
UTILITY DISRUPTIONS
Electricity, internet, and/or cable services may get interrupted during storms. Services usually resume in 1-2 hours.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Although it is rare for snow to impact the roads, please prepare food supplies and have all-wheel drive transportation. NO refunds will be given for weather conditions. Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended.
SECURITY DEPOSIT + FEES
A refundable $300 security deposit is collected to pay for extra cleaning fees, repairs, or damages caused by you and your guests during your stay. A non-refundable Resort Cost Recovery Fee of $55 per stay is also charged at booking.
EXTRA NOTES
- Each reservation will be charged a cleaning fee, resort recovery fee, and sales and lodging taxes per stay.
- Signed rental agreement, full contact information, and a copy of government-issued ID required within 24 hours after booking to confirm reservation.
- IDs are required for anyone involved with the booking, communications, and/or payment of your reservation.
- The person booking this home must be 25+ years and present during the entire stay. No third-party reservations allowed.
- Cancellation terms are stated in your signed renter’s agreement. Cancellations are subject to a $75 administrative fee to process.
- While we try our best to update our listing on the listing management system regularly, sometimes an amenity and/or feature may be missing and/or represented incorrectly due to system errors. We are not responsible for anything that is not detailed in our description. Please inquire about any must-have amenities to confirm information before booking.
